Macam Mana Prestasi sukan Malaysia nak maju???

Keadaan sukan negara sejak tahun 80-an seolah-olah air tertakung. Tiada apa-apa kemajuan. Cuba lihat negara-negara jiran…. Standard mereka dengan kita dah jauh berbeza.

Sebab apa?

Sebab kita tidak pentingkan perkara-perkara yang asas.

Padang sekolah adalah perkara/platform asas bagi melahirkan potensi sukan negara.

Breaking News by Malaysiakini: Anwar was arrested

-When he was arrested a decade ago-

Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was arrested by the police just outside his home in Bukit Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, at 12.55pm today.

The de facto PKR leader was on his way back to his house after being questioned by the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA).

A team of police officers were waiting, according to lawyer R Sivarasa.

Anwar was driven away in a 4WD vehicle with tinted windows, escorted by a convoy of 15 patrol cars. They arrived at Kuala Lumpur police headquarters at 1.11pm.

It is believed that members of a special team from the serious crime division – sporting balaclavas and leather jackets - were also involved in the operation.

What going to happen next?

Meanwhile, Anwar’s wife and PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail confirmed the arrest.

She told reporters in parliament that she had received a call from Anwar and that he had complained of rough treatment by the arresting officers.

Whoever punch Anwars face this time, will be next chief of Police…

Good luck Malaysia! Peoples eyes on you!!! Do not forget it.

And most important do not blame rakyat if there is demonstrations in near future.

Police should handle this matter in a tolerate manner maybe…

Last time whwn reformasi taking place, the flow of information is not very good. But now, information flowing at a high level through Internet…

So, to those who think that you still can fool around, beware… It wont take long time to throw you away!

Malaysiakini: Waytha, do not come back, ISA waiting for you…

Syed Hamid Albar today revealed that Hindu Rights Action Force chairman P Waythamoorthy had been issued an arrest warrant under the Internal Security Act (ISA), which allows detention without trial.

“There was an ISA warrant against him and they (Home Ministry) wanted to revoke his passport. But when I became the minister, I said I do not want the passport to be cancelled,” he said in the bid to clarify the status of the Hindraf leader who is currently in self-imposed exile in London.

However Syed Hamid, who is former foreign minister, did not say whether the arrest warrant is still valid.

Meanwhile, Syed Hamid said the government has no plans to review the ISA and other preventive laws as they are “still relevant”.

“They are needed to prevent any activities that could threaten national security,” he said in response to a written question from Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor).

Malaysiakini: Will Anwar arrested Tomorrow?

PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim could be arrested when he goes to the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters tomorrow to have his statement recorded on the sodomy allegation against him.

This was revealed in a letter from investigating officer DSP Jude Pereira which Sankara Nair (Anwars, Lawyer) received at about 1pm.

The lawyer added that based on his conversation with Pereira, “Anwar is a suspect and may be arrested tomorrow.” [See full letter below]

PKR has warned that its supporters would hold mass demonstrations if Anwar is taken into custody.

“It is surprising that they have resorted to such actions. If they arrest Anwar, we will have no choice but to take to the streets,” said party information chief Tian Chua.

Massive demonstrations erupted after Anwar’s arrest on sodomy and corruption charges a decade ago, in a reformasi movement that continues to reverberate in Malaysian politics to this day.
